Honoring Civil War Veterans

Gravestones cleaning honoring Civil War veterans.

Representatives from a local Civil War history group, 815 Stone Scrubbers; Haunted Rockford; and Greenwood Cemetery bring you a hands-on volunteer opportunity/ workshop about the correct way to clean and preserve gravestones. Please come prepared with appropriate footwear and clothing, you will get dirty. Please bring your own kneeling pads and work gloves, if needed. Tools and materials will be provided. Space is limited.
