Amelia Cotter is an author and storyteller with a special interest in the supernatural, history, and folklore, and is a cast member of the show The R.I.P. Files.  Her books include “This House: The True Story of a Girl and a Ghost”, “Maryland Ghosts: Paranormal Encounters in the Free State”, and the children’s book “Breakfast with Bigfoot”.  Amelia lives and writes in Chicago but is originally from Maryland, where she earned a degree in German and History from Hood College.

Amelia is a member of the Society of Midland Authors.  A cancer survivor, Amelia appreciates every minute of her “supernatural” career.  She shares her love for the many wonders of the world, while hopefully inspiring others to explore it, through her books, stories, award-winning poetry, and on- and off-screen appearances.  Visit her official website at
